Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU) was approved to set up the postdoctoral programme in Statistics and Mathematics by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China (MOHRSS) in 2023.

BNBU statistics programme is recognized as a key programme at the high-level university construction plan of Guangdong Province in 2021, and selected as a national top-tier undergraduate programme in 2022. BNBU statistics programme has been approved by the Ministry of Education (MOE) in 2016 and Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) in 2021 to recruit MPhil and PhD students. This program has five chair professors and seven professors, including three national-level high-level talents, and one national-level high-level youth talent. BNBU provides good research facilities, for example, the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Interdisciplinary Research and Application for Data Science (IRADS), which will support research activities of postdoctoral scholars. To enhance the service for postdoctoral scholars, rules and regulations have been made and improved, aiming at creating a even better living and research environment for postdoctoral scholars.

The Department of Mathematical Sciences offers undergraduate programmes in Applied Mathematics and Financial Mathematics. The department has also secured approval from the Ministry of Education to provide research-oriented master's and doctoral degree programs in Mathematics. In 2023, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China (MOHRSS) granted BNBU the authorization to establish a postdoctoral programme in Mathematics. Over the past four years, the Department of Mathematical Sciences has rapidly assembled a high-caliber international scientific research team. The programme is supported by a distinguished academic team, including one academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, three national-level high-level talents, and two provincial-level high-level talents. All faculty members hold doctoral degrees and possess substantial international research experience. BNBU warmly welcomes applications from outstanding early-career scholars worldwide.

   1)  A comprehensive annual salary ranges from 300,000 CNY to 600,000 CNY(inclusive allowances from governments at all levels);
